When you need to post to a court
Some court processes accept documents by post. Check your specific process before ordering: the required form, destination, filing method and deadline can differ.
- Responding to a money claim. Follow your claim pack and the official response instructions. An acknowledgement, admission and defence use different forms.
- Traffic Enforcement Centre paperwork. Use the form and deadline specified for your order. Ask the court about permitted submission methods and late applications if needed.
- Other applications. Check the current form pack for postal instructions, fees and any required original documents.
Where to send it
Use the address in your current claim pack or court instructions. Money-claim responses do not all go to the same office: the route depends on how the claim was made. Check the official guidance on responding by post before preparing the address. Source checked: 16 September 2026.

Three things to know
- Complete required signatures.Follow the form's instructions, including any statement of truth. Check accepted signature formats before creating the PDF. We print what you upload.
- Copies only. PostOwl cannot enclose original documents, cheques or fee payments. Only the printed pages of your PDF go in the envelope.

Where do I send a TE9 witness statement?
Follow the filing address, permitted method and deadline on your order and current Traffic Enforcement Centre instructions. Check that TE9 is the correct form for your case and complete any required signature before creating your PDF. Contact the court if the instructions are unclear or time is short.
Can I respond to a county court money claim by post?
GOV.UK describes postal responses, but the correct form and destination depend on the claim and your response. N9 is not a general defence or admission form. Use your claim pack and the current official postal-response guidance, check the filing deadline, and do not assume every response goes to Northampton.
Do I need to sign the form before uploading?
Complete every signature or statement of truth required by your particular form before uploading. Check which signature formats the court accepts. PostOwl prints your PDF and cannot sign or validate a form for you.
Can PostOwl send probate forms or original documents?
No. PostOwl prints the PDF you upload. It cannot enclose original documents, cheques or anything else in the envelope. A probate application must include the original will, so probate is out of scope for any print-and-post service. Post anything that requires originals yourself.
How fast will the court receive it?
Check the current collection information and delivery options before ordering. When the court treats it as received is governed by its own deemed-service and receipt rules, which vary by process, so allow time rather than posting on the deadline itself.
